Dental Lumineers
Are you embarrassed about your stained, chipped or gapped teeth? Lumineers are an easy and non-invasive way to get you a permanently dazzling and beautiful smile. When in Livonia, Northville, Plymouth, Farmington, Farmington Hills, Redford, Westland, Garden City, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights and suburbs, Platinum Dental Care is your number one choice for placing Lumineers reliably and cost-effectively. We’ll give your smile a perfect and long-lasting makeover within just 2 visits to our Family dental clinic!
What are Lumineers and How they’re Different from Veneers?
Veneers are thin porcelain or composite shells placed over your teeth to cover stains, chips or gaps and give you an attractive smile. Before a dentist can place veneers, your teeth need to be filed down to make room for the veneer. Dental Lumineers, on the other hand, are special ultra-thin veneers that can be placed on your teeth with little or no need to drill down healthy teeth. At Platinum Dental Care, we use state-of-the-art LUMINEERS with LUMINATE in LUMITray Technology, which allows us to place Lumineers on all of your teeth at once, reducing the number of visits to just 2!
In addition to giving you the perfect smile, Lumineers also protect sensitive or chipped teeth from further damage and wear. They have a life of 20 years or more, so your time and investment are well spent!

Considerations for Placing Lumineers in Livonia
Dental Lumineers Procedure at Our Livonia Clinic
The perfect placement of dental Lumineers typically takes two visits to our Livonia Lumineers clinic. During the first visit, a Certified Lumineers Dentist will take impressions of your upper and lower teeth and photos of your existing teeth condition. Unlike dental veneers, there’s no need for extensive filing down of the teeth and no requirement for a temporary cover to hide the unsightly stubs. After the Lumineers are prepared in our authorized Lumineers lab, we’ll call you for the second and final visit generally a couple of weeks after your first visit.
Our Lumineers placement specialist will check your bite and ensure that the Lumineers are a good fit before bonding them in place. A minor etching of the underlying teeth may be required to adjust the bite before the Lumineers are bonded one by one. Use of the latest LUMINATE in LUMITray Technology allows us to place the Lumineers all at once. There you are, with a brand new smile that’s there to stay!
